In carrying out energy transition, TotalEnergies is developing an integrated approach to decarbonize its supply and generate a competitive advantage that will create long-term value. This approach entails a wide range of energies:

New carbon-free molecules

The production of biofuels and biogas, clean hydrogen, and synthetic fuels that combine hydrogen and carbon are all within TotalEnergies’ expertise. We are moving towards these markets with a focus on circular resource management.

Electrification of energy use

The electrification of energy requires a massive increase in the supply of green electrons. TotalEnergies is working across the entire renewable electricity chain  from production, storage, to sales with a selective and profitable approach. Our goal is to rank among the top five global producers of solar and wind electricity by 2030.

Gas as transition fuel

Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is the ideal complement for intermittent renewable energies. For this reason, LNG is a core component of numerous coal-consuming countries’ net zero roadmaps. TotalEnergies is pursuing gas development in the LNG value chain with a vision of becoming the world’s third largest LNG company.

Petroleum products

TotalEnergies is highly selective and focuses its investments to areas with low breakeven and low emissions projects.
