CAR TREATMENT FOR MOLD-FREE WINDOWS

No one wants to see mold on their car’s exterior. On the windshield, mold may disrupt visibility and, if it is severe enough that you can’t see the road clearly, may even cause an accident. During rainy season, mold’s hazard potential increases, especially since you can’t get rid of it just by activating the front wipers.

The good news is mold can be prevented. For one, simply wash your car regularly, rinse it thoroughly, and make sure it is completely dry. Unintentionally left out or not, water spots may invite mold infestation.

Second, wash your car immediately after it gets rained. Rainwater contains acid, which may cause not only window mold but also damage to your car’s paint. Third, choose carefully where you park. Avoid damp areas, as dust and dirt could easily stick to your car’s exterior in that environment. If the car is not immediately washed, mold will come next. A parking area with even temperature and away from direct sunlight is most ideal to keep a car in its prime condition.

But what happens if mold already infests your car? The only way to solve this is by using a special cleaning liquid. It is easy to apply and therefore you can handle cleaning the car yourself – just choose the right product that does not contain acid nor alcohol.

If you don’t have the time, there’s always a car salon to go to and to request window treatment. Not only the salon will get the mold off the windows, it usually also takes care of fine scratches on window surface – making your car spick and span and ready to go.
