THINGS AT RISK IF YOU DON'T CHANGE ENGINE OIL REGULARLY

Engine oil has a vital role for car engine, and to keep the engine at optimum condition, you need to change it regularly. These are things at risk if you fail to do it:

1. Engine quality diminishes

Basically, engine oil has the function to help maximizing the engine performance. Once the lubricant condition gets poor, the engine will lose its best performance. As the engine compression decreases, ignition will be challenging while the sound of the engine will start to be harsh.

2. Fuel efficiency decreases

Decreasing quality of engine lubrication will also have impact to fuel efficiency, as the internal engine parts rub against each other without good lubrications, the engine will have to work extra hard and therefore need more fuel.

3. Overheating

Engine will overheat once it craves air and coolant. One of the culprits can be poor lubrication performance. As described earlier when the internal parts of an engine start to rub without proper lubrication, it will create extreme heat.

4. Engine components deteriorate

When you don’t change the engine oil regularly, the oil and engine parts debris will build up and create sludge or engine mud. This will eventually damage the vital engine components such as pistons and the cylinder blocks. When it happens, expect a hefty bill coming from the garage due to repairs.

Start changing the oil regularly and avoid potential issues. To be safe, you can just follow the official recommendation as stated in your car manual book.
